Are you caring for an infant with neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS) or providing support to a family who is? This syndrome is a group of conditions caused when a baby withdraws from drug exposure in the womb (illicit or prescribed drugs). Infants and children with a history of NAS are at increased risk for developmental delays. Click on the handout below to learn more about NAS and to contact local and regional resources for support.
